Dean's Office

The Dean's Office is a place where you can handle all formalities related to your studies. You can obtain documents, submit applications for changes in your study program, and get information about fees and scholarships. The Dean's Office will also assist you with matters related to diploma exams and contacts with the Dean.

  • Your student ID

Before your visit, contact the Dean's Office to ensure that the documents are prepared.

  • Application to the Rector: 
    • for reinstatement on the student list, 
    • for termination of the study agreement, 
    • appeal against a lower-level decision. 
  • Original diploma thesis 
  • Other documents, if for some reason you cannot submit them electronically

Student ID Card

The mStudentID is currently not available for foreigners.

Foreign students continue to use the Physical Electronic Student ID Card (ELS).

  • The ID card application form should be sent by e-mail to: dziekanat@byd.pl.
  • The fee for issuing the ID card is PLN 22.00 and must be paid via the ISAPS system, in accordance with the individual schedule.

Collection of the ID card

The ID card can be collected from the relevant Dean's Office within 14 days of submitting the application.

In order to receive a student ID card, a photograph meeting the requirements of the guidelines for issuing identity cards must be uploaded to ISAPS 3.0. In order to receive an electronic student ID card, a photograph that meets the requirements of the guidelines for issuing identity cards must be uploaded to iSAPS. A colour photograph measuring 35 mm x 45 mm, which should show the entire head and upper shoulders against a plain, light background, with the face occupying 70-80% of the photograph. The face must be in a frontal position, with the mouth closed, a natural expression, and the eyes should be open, visible and looking straight at the camera.

Student ID Card

Diploma exams information

Since July 1, 2022, we have once again enabled the submission of documents for the diploma examination in electronic form. Documents should be sent to the email address: dziekanat@byd.pl. Students of branch campuses should submit documents to the dean's office appropriate for their location.

There is no obligation to print and personally submit the diploma thesis to the dean's office.

Before submitting the diploma thesis, you must:

  • have a complete set of credits entered into the ISAPS system,
  • upload the final version of the diploma thesis and its abstract to the ISAPS system (the thesis will be approved by the supervisor, who creates the diploma tab in ISAPS).

To take the diploma examination, you must send scans of the following documents to the email address dziekanat@byd.pl:

  • Title page of the diploma thesis (diploma project  bachelor's thesis  master's thesis)
  • Author's declaration of intent (download)
  • Declaration regarding the date of the diploma examination (download)
  • Signed clearance slip (download)
  • Report from the Unified Anti-Plagiarism System (JSA) in PDF format (the student receives the report from the supervisor). Students submitting a diploma project are exempt from providing the JSA report.

Additionally, you may attach the document “Student achievements” – this information will be included in the diploma supplement.

Students of branch campuses should check the applicable requirements at their local unit and submit documents in accordance with local regulations.

Individualization of the study process

Individual Study Organization (IOS) is a form of support for students that allows them to adjust their study schedule to individual needs. According to the Tuition Fee Regulations, IOS is subject to a fee, in accordance with the payment rules applicable at WSG.

To participate in the IOS program, students must:

  • Read the Instruction from the Vice-Rector for Education regarding the individualization of the study process
  • Complete and sign the IOS Declaration
  • Submit the declaration to the Student Service Office

Documents required for IOS

Dla studentów z bardzo wysokimi wynikami, którzy chcą studiować według rozszerzonego programu. Wniosek można złożyć po pierwszym roku (studia I stopnia) lub semestrze (studia II stopnia), mając średnią min. 4,75. Po akceptacji dziekana student współpracuje z opiekunem naukowym. Zgodnie z Regulaminem Opłat za Studia, IPS jest odpłatna, zgodnie z zasadami płatności obowiązującymi w WSG.

Procedura ubiegania się o Indywidualnego Programu Studiów (IPS), obejmuje:

  • zapoznanie się z Instrukcją Prorektora ds. Kształcenia dotyczącą indywidualizacji procesu studiowania,
  • wypełnienie i podpisanie deklaracji IPS,
  • złożenie deklaracji w Biurze Obsługi Studenta (osobiście lub mailowo - dziekanat@byd.pl).
  • złożenie projektu programu studiów

Dokumenty wymagane do IPS

Umożliwia dostosowanie planu studiów do zainteresowań studenta. Dotyczy m.in. osób przyjętych na wyższy semestr. Można wybierać przedmioty spoza kierunku, a zmiany wymagają zgody dziekana. Zgodnie z Regulaminem Opłat za Studia, IŚS jest odpłatna, zgodnie z zasadami płatności obowiązującymi w WSG.
