What You Need to Know Before You Join Us

Embarking on your academic journey abroad involves fulfilling certain formal requirements. Understanding these steps will streamline your application process. Below, you'll find the key formal aspects necessary for your application to be considered.

New rules for the recruitment of foreigners

As of July 1, 2025, new rules apply for the admission of foreign nationals to studies. The requirement to submit additional documents, as well as their type, is closely related to your citizenship and the country where your education was obtained. Universities are now obligated to verify the language proficiency at the B2 level and conduct entrance examinations. Your certificate or diploma must also be verified by the Polish National Agency for Academic Exchange (NAWA).

The changes in admission rules apply to candidates who do not hold Polish citizenship or are not citizens of a European Union country. Most changes affect those whose documents (certificates, diplomas) were issued outside the EU, OECD, or EFTA.

Check whether the additional requirements apply to you as well.
