WSG strengthens cooperation with Vietnam: new perspectives for students and academic staff within the framework of international partnerships.
The delegation of the WSG University, consisting of Marketing Department specialist Yulia Mulyk and Director of the Department of Psychology Robert Lauks, actively participated for several days in a series of meetings, educational fairs and partner talks in Hanoi. These events, organized in mid-November by the Polish Embassy and other institutions, were an important step in the development of our university as an entity focusing on the internationalization of education and building a partner network around the world.
One of the key points of the visit was the Study in Europe fair in Hanoi, where Polish universities, including WSG, promoted educational opportunities in Poland. The WSG stand enjoyed great interest – among the almost 1,500 visitors there was no shortage of young people interested in the prospect of studying in Poland and learning Polish.
Days dedicated to the Erasmus+ program, meetings with Vietnamese universities and representatives of the Polish Embassy in Hanoi brought further fruitful discussions and specific proposals for the future.
Thanks to the openness of partners from Hanoi Pedagogical University 2, it was possible not only to continue cooperation in the field of student and staff exchange, but also to expand it with new programs, such as Fellowship at the master's level and paid trips under the Copernicus program. The meeting with the university's Board also allowed for the exchange of experiences in the area of psychological support for students, which is a particularly important element in today's globalized academic world.
We believe that international partnerships not only enrich the educational offer, but also allow local communities to discover global perspectives – both on site and by gaining experience abroad.
