On May 22–23, 2025, a delegation from WSG participated in the Annual Conference of the Viadrina Center of Polish and Ukrainian Studies (VCPU) titled "Between Hope and Reality. Modernization and Transformation in Central and Eastern Europe," held in Frankfurt (Oder), Germany.
The WSG delegation included Rector Prof. Marek Chamot, Dean of Studies and International Processes Prof. Svitlana Kashuba, and Prof. Olena Trofymenko. During the event, interdisciplinary research results from leading academic centers in Germany, Poland, the UK, Norway, Bulgaria, Canada, and Ukraine were presented. The conference topics covered issues related to migration, modernization, institutional challenges, and socio-economic and political transformations in Central and Eastern Europe.
As a result of the ongoing collaboration between WSG University, the Viadrina Center of Polish and Ukrainian Studies (VCPU), and the European University Viadrina, a memorandum of cooperation was signed, opening new opportunities for joint scientific and educational initia Universitytives and strengthening the development of students and academic staff at both institutions.
