The goal is good health, and the path to it can involve sport, having fun and working together. On 8 November, My艣l臋cinek will host the ‘Run for Testicles’ – an event promoting preventive healthcare and encouraging men to undergo regular testicular checks. Interest in the run is high, and the organisers are expecting as many as 950 participants at the start of the main race!

This year, WSG is also joining the initiative. We invite students and staff to take part together as part of the WSG Team. This is an opportunity to meet outside the university, get to know one another in a less formal setting, keep fit and support an important health initiative.

A 5 km run through the green fields of My艣l臋cinek

The main race is 5 km long, and the route takes in the grounds of the Botanical Garden in My艣l臋cinek and the area around the Bydgoszcz Trade and Exhibition Centre. Remember, you don’t have to be a trained runner to take part with us – what matters most is your enthusiasm and sporting spirit.

We’ve been given the opportunity to enter 10 people to represent our community. If you’re keen to take part, please register. Places will be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis, so speed is of the essence here – we promise that after that, it’ll be pure enjoyment!

WSG Team Club T-shirts await all participants, and the top three runners from our team will also receive bags filled with university merchandise.

Mental and physical health

WSG will also be present in the race village. At the Academic Medical Centre’s stand, you’ll be able to chat to our team about health and the centre’s services, and enjoy a massage to help you recover after your run.

Fancy running with us? Fill in the registration form and join the WSG Athletic Club. Let’s do something together – for our health, positive energy and a shared goal!
