International cooperation is at its most valuable when it translates into joint initiatives. One such example is the Executive MBA in Sport Management module currently being delivered in Poland, developed in collaboration between the WSG University and the Kazakh National University of Sports (KNUS).
This marks the next stage in the growing partnership between the two universities. Only recently, representatives of WSG – Chancellor Filip Sikora and Director Aleksander Skalij – attended the opening of KNUS’s new campus in Astana. Today, the programme participants are visiting Poland to undertake part of their studies in collaboration with our university.
The programme includes meetings with representatives of the Polish Olympic Committee, experts and practitioners in sports management. Participants have the opportunity to learn about the approaches used in the Polish sports sector, whilst exchanging experiences and perspectives with representatives from both countries.
Such initiatives demonstrate that cooperation between universities does not end with the signing of agreements. Its value is built primarily on joint projects, the exchange of knowledge and activities that engage students, academic staff and partners from different parts of the world.
The delivery of the Executive MBA in Sport Management module is yet another example of how the partnership between WSG and KNUS is developing through concrete projects, creating a space for the exchange of experiences and the building of lasting academic relationships.
