In the 65th Kujawy and Pomerania Sportsman of the Year poll, our student Daria Brzozowska took 8th place.
Daria is the current junior and senior world champion in grappling. However, as she told us, her real passion is MMA. As an amateur, she has won 20 fights and lost only one. Daria revealed to us that she plans to turn professional in MMA this year. Of course, she is not giving up grappling and dreams of repeating her successes from 2025. She also plans to compete in Brazilian jiu jitsu, in which she holds a bronze belt.
We wish her continued success on the mat and in the ring!
