We took part in the Erasmus+ Blended Intensive Programme (BIP) titled “Artificial Intelligence Trends, Ethics, and Applications in Business and Law” – #StudentsCHALLENGES: Artificial Intelligence in Students’ Scientific Research, which turned out to be an inspiring and enriching experience. Our journey began with the online component held on April 29–30, 2026, where we were introduced to the main themes of the programme and prepared for the upcoming activities.
Our physical mobility started slightly earlier than officially planned, as we departed for Bucharest on May 2 as representatives of WSG University in Bydgoszcz. After arriving in Romania’s capital, we spent our first evening together, enjoying the atmosphere of the city and recovering from the journey. The next day, we traveled to Pitești, where a branch of the hosting institution—The National University of Science and Technology POLITEHNICA Bucharest—is located. We quickly settled in, ready to begin the academic part of the programme. From the following day onward, we participated in intensive academic sessions focused on artificial intelligence. Through workshops, lectures, and panel discussions, we explored both the opportunities and challenges of AI in business, law, and scientific research. We paid particular attention to issues of ethics and academic integrity, especially in the context of using modern technological tools. The classes were highly engaging and practical, going beyond the traditional lecture format. One of the most memorable moments was a marketing experiment conducted on campus—a blind taste test where we attempted to distinguish between Coca-Cola, Pepsi, and a Romanian cola-style drink.
However, this experience was not only about learning. Erasmus+ also gave us the opportunity to build meaningful connections. We quickly bonded with students from Andrzej Frycz Modrzewski Kraków University in Poland. Spending time together outside of classes—walking around Pitești, sharing stories, and having long conversations—helped us integrate and exchange valuable experiences from our academic lives.
On our last day, we decided to make the most of our time in Romania by going on a spontaneous trip to the Vidraru Dam, located about 60 kilometers from Pitești. Surrounded by mountains and breathtaking.
