
The WSG University has been officially named a Provincial Leader of the Support Academy!
February 20 this year. The university has been officially named the Voivodship Leader of the Academy of Support! This is a prestigious award within the framework of the project implemented by the Ministry of Family, Labor and Social Policy entitled “Academy of Support - a national system of supporting the development of early childhood care in Poland 2024-2026”. As the Leader, we will be responsible for the development and dissemination of high standards of care for the youngest in the Warmian-Masurian voivodeship.
On February 27, an inaugural meeting was held at the Ministry of Family, Labor and Social Policy with the participation of all institutions involved in the project. Among them were:
National Leader of the Support Academy – Fundacja Rozwoju Dzieci im. A. Komeńskiego,
Provincial Support Academy Leaders:
- Fundacja Rozwoju Demokracji Lokalnej im. Jerzego Rogulskiego – lubelskie voivodship,
- Fundacja na Rzecz Psychoprofilaktyki Społecznej PRO-FIL – podkarpackie voivodship,
- Stowarzyszenie „Dorośli-Dzieciom” – kujawsko-pomorskie voivodship,
- Fundacja Harmonia Życia – opolskie voivodship,
- Fundacja Rozwoju Demokracji Lokalnej im. Jerzego Regulskiego – śląskie voivodship,
- Towarzystwo Przyjaciół Dzieci – zachodniopomorskie voivodship,
- WSG University in Bydgoszczy – warmińsko-mazurskie voivodship,
- Support Academy Ambassador – Fundacja Zwalcz Nudę.
The meeting was opened by Minister Aleksandra Gajewska and the Director of the Department of Family Policy, Mr. Tomasz Pactwa. On the part of our University, Anna Świtała-Wierzbicka and Bogumiła Ratajczak participated in the event.
The goal of the project? To support care institutions in improving the quality of care for children under 3 and the dissemination of formal care in the Warmian-Masurian voivodeship. Activities will include training, mentoring and supervising directed at representatives of local government units, directors of care institutions and caregivers and nannies working with the youngest.
Why it's important.
The project is not only an opportunity to raise care standards, but also a real change for the better for thousands of children and their families. As the WSG, we are proud to be part of this initiative and actively influence the development of early childhood care in our region.
