From 8–12 December 2025, WSG University hosted the Blended Intensive Program “Gamification in Academia”, welcoming students from Lithuania, Romania, and WSG. The program began with an online meeting on 2 December led by Dr. Ewelina Gdaniec, who presented Creating a Learning Journal in a Creative Mode.
Throughout the week, students attended inspiring sessions by invited professors and organizations: Fantazmat (UKW students) introduced LARP, Prof. Joanna Pigulak spoke on Inclusive Game Design, Prof. Alex Polin on Design Leverage, Mikołaj Gembiak on Assets Design for Game Development, Vobacom presented a VR in Games case study, Prof. Iosep Berikashvili discussed Gamification in Academia, Prof. Agnieszka Kutuzow explained What Are Bugs and How to Find Them, and Dr. Michał Mochocki (Gdańsk University) delivered the final lecture titled “In Games, History Has a Future.”
Alongside lectures, students explored board, online, and real-life games, and shared their learning experiences on the final day, making the BIP an engaging and memorable academic journey.
