Competition!

Competition!

Do you want to genuinely influence the appearance of the university space and show off your creativity? Take part in the competition for a design of an installation promoting WSG! It’s a chance to create a spatial form that will enliven the designated place — and at the same time compete for a waiver of tuition fees. If you have an idea, courage, and imagination, this competition is for you. Join in and show your talent!

Within the location indicated in the graphic attachment, come up with, describe, and present a spatial form promoting the WSG University.

It is recommended to use the letters WSG.

Proposals including additional functions will be welcome, e.g. play, relaxation, meeting place, education, a photo motif, and other interactions with the object.

The installation should have high aesthetic value, fit properly into the context of the place, and take into account how it is perceived.

How to present your idea?

Graphics
We encourage all creative minds to take part in the competition. To do this, you should present your concept as clearly as possible. Graphic attachments are required — sketches, collages, photomontages, vector drawings, technical drawings, 3D visualizations, and any other techniques that allow your idea to be illustrated. We do not specify the number of graphic attachments — you decide. Remember that every installation is not flat and is visible from different angles. You must show or describe this.

NOTE: illustrative material must be saved in jpg or png format.

Text
An accompanying description must be added to the illustrations. You can help yourself by describing everything that is not shown in the illustrations, such as the proposed material and the justification for choosing it, texture, color, gloss, transparency, etc.; the way the installation “works,” its variability (if applicable), how it is used, its qualities and attractiveness, elements not visible in the illustrations but important, e.g. light and shadow, sound, plant growth, material aging/patina, and others.

Simply use your imagination and your ability to visualize and describe to present your idea in the best way.

NOTE: the text must be saved in pdf format.

Remember that you are designing with the intent of realization, so do not invent forms that are too complicated or studded with diamonds 😉 Less is more!
